This is an hourly position. Essential Job Functions The screening team runs October through December, with one training day on September 15th 4-6 p.m. Individuals sign up for desired shifts and work with the district screening team coordinator to schedule. A set schedule is preferred and Health and Vision Screening team hourly staff can work up to 5 days a week. The times vary based on the school served. Elementary is 8:30-3:30; Middle School 7:45-2:45. Both with a half hour break for lunch. Health and Screening hourly staff will only serve one building a day. On late start Wednesdays, they will start 1 hour later. Parent Helper- is a non-licensed person who works under the supervisor of the School Nurse and supports in the health screening process for vision and hearing. The School Nurse
- is a licensed RN who works in partnership with the building School Nurse to facilitate screening.
