at St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description St. Luke's Health System has an exciting opportunity for a Histotech to join our Denver Way Histology Department in a full-time position! The Histologic Technologist independently prepares and processes tissue specimens for diagnostic analysis, including performing special staining procedures. This mid-level role requires greater autonomy and can handle more complex tasks and troubleshoot issues with minimal supervision. The Histologic Technician applies scientific principles to ensure high-quality specimen preparation, contributing to accurate patient diagnoses while maintaining compliance with laboratory standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, this role may provide guidance and training to lower-level team members.
