Job Description
Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Pathologists and Cytology/Pathology Supervisor, and within defined departmental policies and procedures, processes and stains all specimens submitted for histological analysis. Minimum Qualifications Education Associates or Baccalaureate degree required. In lieu of education, must be ASCP certified. Experience At least one year prior Histology experience required. Licensure and/or Certification HT/HTL (ASCP) certification preferred. Skills Strong organizational skills Must be detail-oriented. Computer proficiency required. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to maintain confidential information required.
