PM Experience:
Minimum 5 Years of Hospital-Based Histology Experience Required About the Role We are seeking an experienced Histotechnologist for a 4-week contract assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. This position focuses on tissue cutting, embedding, and surgical pathology specimen preparation in a high-volume hospital histology laboratory while maintaining quality standards and accurate documentation. Responsibilities Perform tissue embedding and microtomy for surgical pathology specimens. Prepare and process histology specimens following laboratory protocols. Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and specimen records. Follow quality assurance, safety, and laboratory compliance standards. Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to support efficient workflow. Requirements Active HT (ASCP) certification required prior to the start date. Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume hospital-based histology laboratory. Experience with tissue cutting, embedding, and surgical pathology specimens required. Experience with EPIC Beaker preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and laboratory documentation skills.
