Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our Mohs team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory techniques and medical terminology, with experience working in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting. Duties
  • Perform histological procedures including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining
  • Apply pathology knowledge to ensure accurate specimen handling
  • Assist with patient care by preparing samples for diagnostic testing
  • Conduct laboratory procedures following standard CLIA protocols and maintaining equipment
  • Demonstrate proficiency in anatomy knowledge to accurately identify tissue structures
  • Ability to assist in patient surgeries, patient care and other office duties as needed when performing histology task Requirements
  • Previous experience in a clinical laboratory or hospital setting
  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques and medical terminology
  • Familiarity with aseptic technique and patient care protocols
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and pathology
  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts Tuesday thru Thursday Join our team as a Histology Technician and contribute to providing high-quality healthcare services through accurate diagnostic testing.
