As a Histology Technician, you will play a crucial role in the accurate and efficient processing of tissue specimens. Your expertise will support pathologists in delivering timely and precise diagnostic results. This position requires a meticulous approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care. Responsible for the identification and processing of all tissue specimens received in anatomic pathology Assign appropriate sequential accession numbers to each tissue specimen, ensuring patient identification accuracy Assist pathologists with the gross examination of tissue specimens and operate the tissue processor Process, cut, stain, and deliver prepared slides for microscopic examination Assist with frozen section preparation and perform special histochemical staining procedures Prepare slides for external consultation or processing as necessary File and manage tissue slides and blocks for storage and retrieval Need 1 year experience in setting Must be certified as a Histotechnologist with ASCP or have equivalent certification Apply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
