In this vital role, you will perform complex tissue grossing, processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining procedures to support diagnostic and research activities. Your expertise will ensure the accurate preparation of tissue specimens for microscopic examination, contributing to high-quality patient care and scientific discovery. The ideal candidate will possess strong laboratory skills, a solid understanding of pathology and anatomy, and a passion for advancing medical research through precise histological techniques. Responsibilities Prepare tissue specimens through fixation, dehydration, clearing, embedding, sectioning, and staining using established laboratory techniques. Operate and maintain histology equipment such as microtomes, cryostats, tissue processors, and staining machines with precision. Ensure all procedures adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure specimen integrity. Accurately document all processing steps, specimen details, and results in laboratory information systems. Collaborate with pathologists, researchers, and clinical staff to meet specimen processing timelines and quality standards. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to tissue preparation or staining processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with laboratory safety regulations. Experience Proven clinical laboratory experience with a focus on histology or pathology specimen processing. Research laboratory experience involving tissue analysis or related scientific techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with specimen collection and processing procedures within hospital or clinical settings. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pathology enhances the ability to interpret tissue samples accurately. Experience performing gross tissue examination is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong understanding of medical terminology, laboratory procedures, and vital signs measurement. Demonstrated ability to follow detailed protocols using aseptic techniques in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
