Job Description
Under direct supervision, prepares tissue specimens for routine and special procedures that aid in the confirmation of patient diagnosis. Experience using automated equipment and instruments including microscopes, microtomes, and other lab equipment. Exhibits accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work for quality. Ability to work independently with strong attention to accuracy and detail. Ability to maintain strict protocols of all confidential or sensitive information. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
