Job Description
REACH, Inc. is currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and community-minded individual to join our team as a Day Habilitation Direct Support Professional (DSP). In this role, you will provide hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build independence, develop life skills, and actively participate in their communities. The primary focus of this position is supporting individuals in community-based activities, including shopping, recreation, appointments, classes, and social events. While some support may be provided in the individual's home, the majority of services are centered on helping people engage safely and meaningfully in their communities. A Day in the Life of a Day Habilitation DSP As a Day Habilitation DSP, you will support individuals in developing skills, increasing independence, and participating fully in their communities. You will assist individuals in accessing community resources, attending appointments, shopping, participating in recreational and social activities, completing errands, and exploring personal interests. You will build respectful relationships, follow each person's Individual Service Plan (ISP), help individuals achieve their personal goals, complete required documentation, and maintain a safe, supportive environment.
