Direct Support Professional /CaregiverTIDES LLC
is a locally owned home and community-based Medicaid service provider, supporting children and adults who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities. Currently TIDES is seeking an experienced caregiver with direct support interest or experience to join our team in Juneau, Alaska. This position provides direct care services to two residents, while overseeing the day-to-day needs of the home. We are currently looking for the right person(s) for this incredibly exciting and dynamic position. The right person will get to build a career in direct service while supporting two men in living their best lives and being supported in their own home. The ideal candidate has positive energy, a can-do attitude, demonstrates strong communication skills, and can take initiative, support maintaining harmony within the home, and ensure the expectations of care are upheld every day. The residents of this home are two adult males who have individualized needs, as outlined in plans of care. Managing the day-to-day needs of the residents: Providing assistance with daily needs such as self- care/ personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication admiration, cleaning, shopping, transportation, running errands/appointments as well as community inclusion and companionship. You may also provide on-the-job support, including coaching, guidance, and assistance with accessibility and accommodation needs.Job Status:
Part Time/ 3/4 Time Shifts are typically between the hours of 7am - 10pm, ranging from 3-6 hours a day.Pay:
This position will start out as hourly between the rate of $20.00+ depending on experience. Basic Requirements- The passion and experience to provide support to individuals who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities is required.

- Must have a valid AK driver's license.
