About Happy Villas Happy Villas is a warm, positive, and family-like residential home serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals who are also dependable, attentive, teachable, and ready to stay actively involved throughout the shift. This is hands-on support work, not a sit-down position. Available Schedules 

Full-time:

Friday 9 AM-5 PM and Monday and Wednesday 5 PM-9 AM (40 hours weekly).  Part-time weekday: Tuesday and Thursday 5 PM-9 AM (32 hours weekly).  Part-time weekend overnight: Every other Friday and Saturday 9 PM-9 AM (24 hours per assigned weekend). Applicants must be able to work one complete schedule consistently. Some positions require working at more than one nearby Happy Villas residential home. Responsibilities  Assist residents with personal care, meals, household routines, and other activities of daily living.  Follow care plans, dietary instructions, behavior supports, safety procedures, and daily schedules.  Provide evening, overnight, morning, transportation, appointment, and community support as assigned.  Assist with medications after completing all required certification and authorization.  Observe and immediately report health, behavior, medication, maintenance, or safety concerns.  Complete T-logs, care notes, medication records, incident reports, and shift handoffs accurately and on time.  Complete housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and other assigned home duties.  Secure doors and windows and follow all alarm and home-security procedures.  Treat every resident with dignity, patience, confidentiality, and respect. Qualifications  At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.  Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.  Consistent attendance, punctuality, professional communication, and ability to follow instructions.  Ability to use a smartphone or computer for training, scheduling, communication, and documentation.  Ability to pass required screenings and complete orientation, CPR and First Aid, ADMH Relias, medication- assistance, and other assigned training.  IDD, group-home, personal-care, CPR, or medication-support experience is preferred but not required for a strong, dependable candidate willing to learn. Compensation Information Starting pay is $12.00-$14.00 per hour based on relevant experience, availability, and current certifications. A pay review may be available after medication-assistance certification and demonstrated dependable performance. Bonus pay may be offered for specifically designated holidays, urgent coverage, short-notice assignments, or difficult-to-fill shifts. Additional shifts and overtime may be available but are not guaranteed. Happy Villas does not currently offer employer-sponsored health insurance. Hiring Process Employment is conditional until all required paperwork, screenings, orientation, training, and assigned shadow shifts are completed.
