Job Description

Howard's House is looking for compassionate, dependable, and caring individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)! Our DSPs provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential group home setting. We're looking for team members who have a heart for helping others and are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive home environment.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with daily living and personal care needs Meal preparation and light housekeeping Medication assistance/administration as trained Supporting individual goals and independence Transportation to appointments and community activities as needed Completing required daily documentation Providing companionship, encouragement, and supervision Maintaining a safe, clean, and positive home environment What we're looking for: ✓ Must be at least 18 years old ✓ Dependable and punctual ✓ Compassionate, patient, and respectful ✓ Able to successfully complete required background checks and training ✓ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred ✓ Previous caregiving/DSP experience is a plus, but not required — we are willing to train the right person!
