Working in our group home and community-based settings, you'll collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure each individual receives the highest quality of care. Responsibilities Administer medications to patients as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation Assist with transportation to appointments and community activities Maintain accurate medical documentation and update medical records promptly. Provide individualized services as directed according to person centered plans and needs of the resident. Collaborate with nursing staff to monitor patient responses to medications and report any adverse reactions. Ensure compliance with all relevant medical terminology and regulations in medication administration. Provide compassionate care to residents or fostering a supportive environment. Light housekeeping/general cleaning Skills Proficient in medication administration techniques and practices. Familiarity with medical records management and documentation standards. Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to the healthcare field. Experience working in a group home setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team focused on patient care.
