Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals in need from 8:00am-4:00pm Mon-Fri. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities, offer emotional support, and ensure the well-being of our clients. Duties

• Provide direct care and support to individuals in a residential setting
• Assist with meal preparation and shopping as needed
• Monitor and record patient behaviors and activities
• Help with patient hygiene tasks such as bathing, toileting, & dressing
• Support patients in recreational activities and social interactions
• Assist with observation and monitoring of medication management.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals & schedule appointments to ensure the best care for patients Requirements
• 1 year experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred
• Knowledge of de-escalation techniques
• Ability to cook meals for individuals with specific dietary needs
• Proficient in patient monitoring, observation, and reporting
• Familiarity with direct support practices
• Capable of making sound decisions and remaining calm during a conflict or crisis
