Our 28-bed Medical Telemetry unit provides specialized, continuous monitoring for a high-acuity patient population with diverse clinical needs. We manage a dynamic range of cases, including complex cardiac and respiratory conditions, post-surgical recovery, patients requiring bedside hemodialysis, as well as other medical conditions. This versatile environment demands a high level of clinical expertise to ensure safe, high-quality care for every patient on their path to recovery. How you'll contribute: A Patient Care Assistant who excels in this role:- Provides direct patient care
- Performs specific documentation in the patient's record
- Maintains equipment and supplies and participates in quality assurance
- Communicates appropriate information in departmental and interdepartmentally
- Assists and participates in staff education and pursues continuing education for personal development.
