We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and responsible Residential Support Staff member to join our team at a residential substance abuse treatment facility. The Residential Support Staff member plays an important role in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment for clients while they work toward recovery. Responsibilities Monitor and supervise clients in the residential setting. Maintain a safe, clean, and structured environment. Assist with daily routines and facility activities. Provide encouragement and appropriate support to clients. Reinforce facility rules, policies, and expectations. Complete required documentation, logs, and shift reports accurately. Monitor client behavior and report concerns or changes to clinical/management staff. Assist with crisis situations according to facility policies and training. Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality. Conduct safety checks and follow facility procedures. Assist with meals, transportation, activities, and other residential duties as assigned. Work cooperatively with counselors, clinical staff, and management. Support a recovery-focused and respectful atmosphere. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in substance abuse treatment, behavioral health, residential care, or a related field is preferred. Must be dependable and able to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries. Ability to remain calm and professional during difficult or stressful situations. Must be able to pass required background checks and meet facility employment requirements.
