Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, grooming, dressing, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, medication administration, and overall condition; document findings accurately in care plans Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs while adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences Operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility assistance Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and proper infection control practices Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive and engaging community atmosphere Follow all HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times Assist with specialized care needs including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, autism support, neurodevelopmental disorders, and hospice care Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to monitor patients' vital signs and recognize changes in health status Experience with patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or other manual handling techniques Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols Familiarity with developing or following individualized care plans for residents with complex needs Background in caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders is advantageous Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications related to dementia or Alzheimer's care are a plus Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork within healthcare settings Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to enriching lives through compassionate caregiving.
