Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance. Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, and maintaining a safe living environment. Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Provide transportation to medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, and other errands. Offer companionship, emotional support, and social engagement. Monitor and report changes in clients' health, behavior, mood, or condition. Follow established care plans and maintain accurate communication with families and care team members. Respect client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times. Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older . Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Must possess current CPR and First Aid certification . Must be able to pass a background check . Compassionate, patient, empathetic, and dependable. Ability to work independently and follow care plans. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Physical stamina to assist with lifting, moving, and transferring clients. Basic knowledge of medication administration and safety procedures. Strong observation and communication skills. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed. Work Environment Primarily provides care in clients' homes. Some assignments may take place in assisted living or residential care facilities. Requires professionalism, discretion, and respect for client confidentiality. Works collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
