Role:
One Step Closer Group Inc is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Apple Valley, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities by providing hands-on care and support. Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately Transport and accompany clients to appointments, community activities, and recreational outings Administer medications and follow health care protocols as directed Encourage skill development, independence, and community integration Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive living environment for all clients Contact Administrator (562)507-9525
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required Previous experience as a
DSP, DSP 1 & 2
required ( 1 will do) Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation Already completed Physical & TB shot (1 year to date valid) Background clearance completed CPR/First Aid certification completed Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills, professionalism Compassionate, dependable, and committed to person-centered care
