Role:

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and engaging support staff to assist a 19-year-old young adult with high-functioning Autism in living a safe, active, and independent life. He lives alone in a small home on his family's property and thrives with structured, consistent support. This is a meaningful role for someone who is passionate about supporting neurodiverse individuals and enjoys making a real difference in someone's everyday life.

Key Responsibilities:

Support with daily living tasks (cleaning, meal prep, hygiene, organizing, etc.) Promote independence and life skills development Exploring and securing volunteer or paid work opportunties in the community Ensure safety and routine consistency Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and outings Encourage community involvement and social skill-building Communicate regularly with family and support team Respect personal space while maintaining strong, healthy boundaries

What We're Looking For:

Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (preferred but not required) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patient, dependable, and kind-hearted Ability to remain calm and encouraging Comfortable with video/audio safety monitoring in the home Must have: Valid driver's license Current auto insurance Reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed) Ability to pass a criminal background check Why Join Us?
