Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in a small setting Board and Care in Blossom Valley, Ca. this vital role, you will help clients maintain their independence, ensure their safety, and enhance their quality of life through personalized assistance. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, observations, and progress in compliance with healthcare standards Support clients with personal transportation needs for appointments or community engagement Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism is preferred Ability to perform patient observation, monitor vital signs, and recognize signs of distress or deterioration Experience with medication administration, first aid, CPR certification required or willing to obtain upon hire Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy is maintained at all times Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork within healthcare settings Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, assist with patient transfers using proper techniques, and manual handling tasks Join our team to provide compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
