Job Description
Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) CDL-Exeter - Exeter, CA CDL-Exeter is a licensed adult day program dedicated to supporting adults with developmental disabilities in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP). This position primarily works Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and provides additional coverage when full-time employees are on vacation or otherwise unavailable. The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, enjoys working with people, and is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the individuals we support. Responsibilities Provide direct support and supervision to individuals throughout the day. Assist individuals with community outings, recreational activities, and daily program participation. Encourage independence while ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals served. Transport individuals to and from community activities as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and complete required paperwork. Communicate effectively with coworkers and administrators. Follow all CDL-Exeter policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Work as a team player and provide coverage when needed. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and all required pre-employment screenings. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Schedule Part-Time Monday through Friday Approximately 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Additional hours may be available to cover vacations or other staffing needs.
