In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Whether supporting residents in group homes, assisted living facilities, or through home and community care, you will be a positive influence and a trusted caregiver. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in patient observation, medication administration, and care planning while fostering a supportive environment for those you serve. Responsibilities Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to enhance their independence and comfort Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly to healthcare teams Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines to ensure safety and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with care plans and dietary restrictions, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient progress, and incident reports in compliance with healthcare regulations Engage residents in social activities and community outings to promote mental stimulation and socialization Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient care techniques including assisting with ADLs, medication management, and vital signs monitoring Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, autism support or hospice care is advantageous Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or nursing assistant credentials are a plus Proven ability to follow care plans accurately while maintaining compassion and patience in all interactions Join us to empower individuals through dedicated support and compassionate caregiving. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
