Job Description

Our busy home health agency is rapidly growing, and we're seeking an experienced home health aide to assist us in providing superior in-home health care to clients. Our ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills and 1-3 years of experience working as an HHA or caregiver. You'll assist our patients with companionship, basic medical care, light housekeeping duties, personal care, and hygiene tasks so that they are empowered to live happily at home. Compensation:
$19•$22 hourly
Responsibilities:
Stay on top of light housekeeping tasks including but not limited to laundry, bed making, vacuuming, etc. Supervise medications and assist patient in organizing, refilling, and taking medications, as well as meal planning and preparation Maintain psychological and emotional support for patients and family members•provide quality companionship Provide personal care tasks such as calling doctors' offices, scheduling appointments, and coordinating Medicare and other insurance details Collaborate with the case manager to implement care plans for patients, and maintain updated and accurate care records
Qualifications:
Completion of home health aide training programs from community colleges are acceptable•Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is a plus Over one year of experience as a personal caregiver, HHA/ home health aide, personal care aid, or nursing assistant for a home health agency, at patient homes, or care facilities settings is vital Some college preferred, but a high school diploma or GED is required Current CPR certification and first aid training is needed and you must be able to pass a full employment background check, drug test, and physical Compassionate, kind, and empathetic personality is essential, with superb organization and communications skills About Company We are a compassionate Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) dedicated to providing exceptional care and a warm, supportive environment for our residents.
