We are looking for caring, dependable, and professional Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. Our approach is person-centered, meaning we support each resident based on their individual needs, choices, preferences, and goals while encouraging independence and maintaining a safe and welcoming home. Duties Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and personal care. Encourage residents to be as independent as possible with everyday activities. Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping and meal planning. Assist with medications and required documentation according to facility procedures. Support residents with appointments, community outings, shopping, recreation, and other activities. Follow each resident's Individual Program Plan (IPP) and support needs. Provide positive and respectful behavioral support. Complete daily notes, medication records, incident reports, and other required documentation. Assist with household cleaning, including dishes, laundry, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen areas, and common areas. Encourage residents to participate in household activities based on their abilities and choices. Maintain a safe, clean, respectful, and comfortable home environment. Report changes or concerns regarding a resident's health, behavior, or well-being. Respect resident rights, privacy, dignity, and personal choices at all times. Experience & Requirements Current DSP I certification required. CPR and First Aid certification required. Experience working in an ARF, group home, or with adults with developmental disabilities is preferred. Must meet required background clearance requirements. Must be comfortable assisting with personal care, cleaning, meals, medications, and community activities. Must be dependable, patient, respectful, and able to work well with others. Good communication and documentation skills.
