• Provide personal care to patients in their homes, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
• Assist with medical procedures, such as tube feeding and catheter care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, following HIPAA guidelines.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and organizing patient's living space.
• Prepare nutritious meals for patients based on their dietary needs and preferences. ```Experience```
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures.
• Knowledge of nursing home protocols and practices.
• Experience with tube feeding and catheter care is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Compassionate and patient-oriented approach to caregiving.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
