This position focuses on enhancing the quality of life for clients by promoting independence and facilitating their daily activities. The RBTwill work closely with client to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met in a compassionate and respectful manner. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated RBT to provide care for an individual with autism that rarely has mild to moderate behaviors. The position requires working closely with a second support staff, and in cases where your colleague is unavailable, we will ask you to continue the routine independently if you feel comfortable and confident. Responsibilities Provide direct support to individuals in daily living activities, in the community. Assist clients with daily living skills at home and in the community. Observe and document client's progress, and any changes in daily activities . Engage clients in social activities and community involvement to promote socialization and integration. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Provide emotional and behavioral support and encouragement to clients, fostering a positive atmosphere. Skills Strong background in ABA or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Experience in direct support roles with individuals with (ASD) or special needs is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach towards caregiving. This role is essential for making a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and support.
