Your dedication will help clients maintain independence, safety, and dignity while receiving personalized attention tailored to their unique needs. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs and observing for changes in condition or behavior Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and assist with meal planning and cooking Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Maintain a clean, safe environment through light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning personal spaces and common areas Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to safely assist with heavy lifting or transfers Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and care plans Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing memory care techniques and engaging in therapeutic activities Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor patient progress and report any concerns promptly Experience Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, home health, hospice care, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and HIPAA compliance is essential Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia enhances your ability to deliver specialized care Familiarity with assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or resident transfer equipment is advantageous Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manage physical demands of caregiving roles Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Previous roles involving social work or long-term care experience are beneficial but not required Join us today to become part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional personal care!
