Job Description

By The Bay Health, a non-profit established in 1975, set the standard for hospice in the U.S. by emphasizing the role of the patient in making important medical decisions. Our spectrum of home-based services now includes Skilled Home Health Care, Palliative Care, Adult Hospice Care and Pediatric Care. Our team approach strives to address practical, social, emotional and spiritual aspects of care, with the goal to maximize quality of life for our patients, caregivers and families. If you are a Certified HHA come join our Hospice team! Our S.F. Team has a diverse and dedicated team of clinicians, many of whom are multilingual in Mandarin, Cantonese and Taishanese. We strive to employ clinicians who have the passion and language/cultural skillsets to continue providing the highest level of care possible as we grow our census of culturally diverse patients. This position offers company paid rideshares within the city, a car lending program, competitive pay, generous benefits, and a supportive work environment. We are currently seeking a full time Hospice Aide to provide personal care services to our hospice patients.
Schedule:
5 days a week including weekends; 8:30am - 5:00pm; start times are flexible

MUST HAVE HHA LICENSE
•By the Bay Health follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed Assist patient in and out of bed and with ambulation Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen Assist with prescribed exercises as directed
Education/Experience :
Completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program. Experience in hospice or home health preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Completion of an approved Home Health Aide (HHA) training program.
HOME CARE AIDE
(HCA)
CERTIFICATION IS NOT ACCEPTED.
Current California Driver's License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car.
Pay Range:
