In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs, ensuring their safety, well-being, and quality of life. Your contributions will help empower our clients to live as independently as possible while receiving the care they need. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Provide care and support in a group home or assisted living environment. Monitor clients overall health, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring compliance with Title 17 and 22 Assist with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals for clients. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive engagement. Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities. Perform cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic living environment. Document client progress and any incidents accurately in accordance with company policies.Experience / Qualifications
Candidates should possess experience in caregiving or direct support roles.Qualifications include:
Minimum 18 years of age High school diploma or GED equivalent First aid and CPR certification Must have valid California driver's license Current Year 1 DSP Certification or be willing to obtain during the first year of employment Minimum 6 months of prior experience providing direct supervision and special services to individuals with developmental disabilities Able and willing to lift up to 25 lbs. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients, families, and team members. Fingerprint clearance prior to employment from DOJ and FBI Must be able to pass a health screening and TB testing Languages spoken by staff:English & Spanish Job Type:
