• Applicant must have a minimum of one (1) year prior experience providing direct supervision and special services to persons with developmental and/or intellectual challenges. FBI/DOJ clearance must be received prior to starting employment with individuals. Health Screening Clearance with TB clearance results. Applicant must provide a current Standard First Aid/CPR card.
• Automobile insurance, valid California driver's license, current registration and DMV printout is required, if driving individuals.

Experience in working with various medical conditions is highly desirable. Experience in implementing behavior modification program highly desirable. Complete any additional training as required on the job. A strong commitment to providing quality care and programming is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides training of skills and learning opportunities to assigned individual.
• Prepare and complete mandated daily charting for each assigned individual.
• Provides supervision for individuals and ensures that all basic care needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assists in the implementation and follow through of any therapeutic behavior modification program.
• Communicate results of medical appointments so that Bism Supported Living can share with individual's circle of support.
• Implements each individual's ISP including appropriate data collection.
• Attends monthly staff and in-service training sessions.
• Assists in providing training to individual to take prescribed medication as directed by attending physician and maintains required documentation.
• Takes initiative in providing opportunities for normalization and personal development within the scope of the ISP.
• Complete 12 hours of in-service training annually.
