Home Care Aides play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence, safety, dignity, and overall well-being while remaining in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being. Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands. Support clients with transfers, ambulation, and mobility assistance. Observe and report changes in client condition, behavior, or care needs. Provide specialized care for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, or other chronic conditions. Follow individualized care plans and document care provided accurately. Communicate professionally with clients, family members, and the care team. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with all agency policies and regulations. Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of professional caregiving experience in home care, assisted living, healthcare, or personal care settings required. Experience providing care to seniors and individuals with disabilities is strongly preferred. Experience providing care to seniors and individuals with disabilities is strongly preferred. Knowledge of safe transfer techniques and use of mobility equipment preferred. Ability to work independently while providing compassionate, client-centered care. Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes.
