Overview We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and motivated Community Integration Specialist & Driver to join our team. In this dual role, you will assist individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in gaining independence, building life skills, and actively participating in the Tracy community. You will be responsible for providing direct behavioral support, planning local community outings, and safely transporting clients to and from activities and volunteer sites. Duties Plan and facilitate meaningful community-integrated activities, vocational training and social outings. Provide reliable transportation using standard passenger cars to community events, recreational activities, supporting clients' social participation. Develop and implement individualized support plans that promote skill-building, independence, and community involvement. Employ behavioral health techniques and behavior management strategies to support clients with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or intellectual disabilities. Collect data on client progress, document interactions accurately, and communicate updates to team members to inform ongoing care plans. Use effective communication skills—including American Sign Language when applicable—to foster positive client relationships and facilitate client-client interactions. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health protocols, first aid procedures, and CPR guidelines during all activities. Experience Prior experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred. Background in special education or behavioral health supports is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to operate a standard passenger vehicle safely and responsibly. Experience in home and community care settings supporting clients with cognitive disabilities or intellectual disabilities. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and experience assisting with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living). Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation; proficiency in American Sign Language is a plus. Certification in first aid and CPR; experience with data collection and medication administration is desirable. Pay:
