3rd ShiftSaturday-Wednesday 11:00 PM-7:00 AMFull-Time | 40

Hours/WeekPay:

$24.00-$26.00 per hour

Earn up to $26 once you have received your RBT - Registered Behavioral Technician certification. Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) interact and support our individuals with development disabilities in a variety of potential settings including community, family or individual homes and generic community settings, as well as Adult Training Facilities. The DSP will assist with direct care as well as implementation of behavior plans. We provide a level of care that enhances the health, safety, dignity and contentment of every consumer served by assisting and training individuals in the areas of personal care, communication, and social skill development.

Education/License/Certification(s): High school diploma or GED

Certification-Registered Behavior Technician or licensed psychiatric technician; or become a registered behavior technician within twelve months of initial employment. DSP 1 and DSP 2 Certification - Required within 12 months of hire.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification - Required within 12 months of hire.

Merakey will provide access to the necessary training and support to help employees meet the

requirements.

must be completed within 1 year of hire.

Experience:

Minimum Required 6 months experience working with IDD/MH population or equivalent

Dual Diagnose experience is a PLUS!

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be at least 18 years old

Valid driver's license, if required

Ability to read, speak, write and comprehend the English language

Must have desire to help others reach their fullest potential

Completes PPD testing and Physical Examination upon hire and minimally every 2 years thereafter, if required.

Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed

Ability to model, teach, and encourage socially-acceptable behaviors as needed
