Wednesday's 5pm-7:30pm with additional hours as needed during the week. A Physicians Home Care (APHC) is a locally owned business in Colorado Springs that was started by a family of a Special Needs child who is now an adult. We are seeking compassionate and dependable Respite Caregivers to provide in-home support services for individuals with disabilities, and clients requiring assistance with daily living activities. This role provides temporary relief for family caregivers while ensuring clients receive high-quality, respectful, and safe care in their homes. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed Perform light housekeeping and laundry Monitor client safety and report changes in condition Provide mobility and transfer assistance Follow individualized care plans Maintain accurate daily care documentation Follow the care plan responsibilities and tasks Maintain a clean work environment Immediately report to the agency any client incidents/variance or complaints, or any other important changes with the client. Qualifications Minimum 1 year caregiving, home health experience preferred CPR/First Aid certification preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass background checks and drug screening Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 75 pounds A Physicians Home Care is an equal opportunity employer
