Pay:

$20.00- $27.00 per hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. Implement individualized restorative care plans designed to improve or maintain residents' physical and cognitive functions. Use proper patient transfer methods, including Hoyer lifts and safe manual handling techniques, to ensure safety during mobility assistance. Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes in residents' conditions, and report any concerns to nursing staff promptly. Support medication administration procedures following strict HIPAA guidelines and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health records (EHR) systems while ensuring confidentiality at all times. Engage with residents using effective caregiver communication skills, fostering trust and emotional well-being. Experience Prior experience working as a restorative aide or in senior care, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, or home care settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) procedures such as CPR. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia care needs, or memory care is advantageous. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks for medical documentation and patient record management is a plus. Background in healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), hospice care, or medical-surgical units enhances your suitability for this role.
