A Job Coach works 1:1 or in small group settings with individuals with disabilities to help them develop job skills to find success in employment. What You'll Do Coach real-life job skills to individuals at their workplace while providing the supports needed to maintain employment Provide on-site training, instruction, supervision, and advocacy at community job sites Support individuals in increasing independence and confidence in their roles Maintain ongoing communication with workplace supervisors, team members, and family members Help individuals navigate workplace expectations, routines, and social dynamics Support individuals in alignment with their individualized service plans and employment goals Additional Opportunities Support individuals in community-based activities that build pre-employment and social skills Collaborate with community integration teams to create well-rounded support plans Opportunity to assist with or lead group outings and community integration activities Documentation & Support Complete daily notes, employment tracking, and documentation within required timelines Provide crisis prevention and intervention support as needed (NVCI training provided) Follow all individualized service plans and behavior protocols

Qualified Employees Responsibilities:
Coaching real-life job skills to individuals with disabilities at their workplace while providing the needed supports to help them maintain employment in the community Ongoing communication with workplace supervisors, team members, and family members Provide on-site training, instruction, supervision, and advocacy for individuals at community job sites Support individuals in increasing independence in their workplace and community
Qualifications:
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to transport individuals in services in your vehicle In order to provide transportation, the candidate must be 18 years of age or older. Able to perform the physical demands of the position may include but are not limited to: Physically intervening with individuals that pose a safety threat to themselves or others utilizing NVCI-approved techniques, Working with unpredictable and aggressive individuals and may be expected to be alone with them in the community or in their homes, and Maintaining calm and professionally intervening with individuals during escalated/crisis moments.
