Agency Overview Able Healthcare, LLC provides high-quality Adult Foster Living (AFL) and Personal Care Attendant (PCA) services to individuals eligible under the Connecticut Home Care Program for Elders (CHCPE) Medicaid waiver. Our mission is to help families care for their loved ones with dignity, respect, and compassion. Whether assisting a frail senior to remain at home or helping someone secure the most supportive living arrangement, we are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. Position Summary Responsibilities Complete Agency training and obtain PCA Certificate Provide health care services in patients residences Provides daily personal care duties such as bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, toileting transfers and ambulation Provides home-making duties including: meal preparation to suit patient's dietary needs, laundry, linen changes, grocery shopping and light housekeeping such as washing dishes, floor cleaning (mopping, vacuuming), wiping of surface areas and dusting on ground level. Reminds patients to take their medications Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support Reports any change in the patient's mental or physical condition to the immediate supervisor SKILLS Proficient in English and/or Spanish (Required) Driver's license (Required/ Must be able to drive and have reliable means of Transportation) High School diploma

$17.00 per hour
