C&M Carting Solutions is a locally owned, full-service waste management company serving Northwest Connecticut. We provide residential, commercial, municipal, waste& recycling, dumpster rentals, and junk removal services. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in working safely, efficiently, and professionally. Responsibilities Operate rear, front, and side load,garbage and recycling trucks Complete residential, commercial, and municipal collection routes Safely operate truck controls and loading equipment Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Complete route and service documentation Provide professional customer service Identify and report mechanical issues Keep equipment clean and properly maintained Follow all DOT, company, and safety requirements Work independently to complete assigned routes safely and efficiently Qualifications Valid CDL Class B license Air brake qualification Clean driving record Reliable attendance and transportation Ability to safely operate heavy equipment Ability to work independently Professional attitude and good customer-service skills Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Garbage or recycling collection experience preferred, but not required Pay $20-$28 per hour depending on experience. Candidates with proven garbage-truck experience and the ability to independently operate a route may qualify for the higher end of the pay range. Why Work for C&M?
