Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Assistants/Home Health Aides with the skills, dedication and compassion that will enhance the lives of our residents. Your role is providing hands on care with the following: Personal Care Assistance Assist residents in managing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing and grooming 2. Medication Administration • Complete training and obtain certification in Medication Administration. • Administer medications accurately and safely as per prescribed guidelines. Meal and Nutrition Support Escort residents to meals and ensure they have the necessary assistance to eat comfortably and safely. Monitor and document residents' dietary intake and report any concerns to the nursing staff. Emotional and Social Support Support residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being. Engage residents in recreational activities and social interactions to promote a sense of community and mental stimulation. Health Monitoring and Reporting Observe and report any changes in residents' physical or mental health to the nursing staff promptly. Assist with medication reminders and ensure residents follow their prescribed treatment plans. Environmental Maintenance Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents. Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as making beds, tidying rooms, and ensuring residents' living spaces are comfortable.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and transferring residents. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of residents.

Work Environment:

This position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. You will work in a team-oriented setting with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
