Full-Time, Monday-Friday Pay:

PM Hours:

40 hours per week We are seeking a reliable, caring, and dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to assist Meredith, a friendly and active 30-year-old woman with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair. This is a full-time position providing assistance with daily living, transportation, household tasks, and community activities. Responsibilities Assist with restroom needs and personal hygiene Assist with dressing and undressing Assist with showering Prepare simple meals Light housekeeping, including dishes, sweeping, mopping, and laundry Drive Meredith to appointments, errands, shopping, and fun/community outings Assist with loading and unloading her wheelchair, which comes apart and fits into a car trunk Provide basic care for her service dog, Saturn, a 1-year-old Chihuahua/Cockapoo mix, including: Short 10-minute walks and bathroom breaks Feeding and providing water Ensuring his safety while in your care Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable personal vehicle that is low enough for Meredith to safely transfer into and out of (no trucks or SUVs) Comfortable transporting Meredith in your own vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided) Comfortable lifting/loading wheelchair components into the trunk Dog-friendly and comfortable assisting with a small service dog Dependable, patient, respectful, and comfortable assisting with personal care Comfortable with Meredith's fiancée and service animal occasionally accompanying her on rides/outings This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping others maintain their independence and wants a consistent, full-time Monday-Friday schedule. We are looking for someone who can build a comfortable, respectful working relationship with Meredith while helping her stay active and engaged in her daily life.

This would involve limited care such as bathroom and walk breaks, replenishing food and water, and ensuring the dogs safety.
