The ideal candidate will have experience in a range of medical environments, including trauma centers, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. This role is crucial for ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting with their daily activities and healthcare needs. Duties Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities. Provide support in a variety of medical settings, including Level I and Level II trauma centers, teaching hospitals, and outpatient clinics. Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team. Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Engage with patients in a compassionate manner, promoting their dignity and independence. Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient care areas. Document patient care activities accurately and timely as required by facility protocols. Qualifications Experience in Level II trauma center or Level I trauma center settings is preferred. Background in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, geriatrics, or medical-surgical care is highly valued. Familiarity with pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) practices is a plus. Experience in operating room (OR) environments is beneficial. Knowledge of post-acute care, sub-acute care, and outpatient clinic operations is advantageous.
