Job Description

Home Health Aide (HHA) - New Haven, Connecticut Earn $18-$20/hour We are seeking experienced and compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our Homewatch CareGivers of New Haven and the Shoreline team. If you're passionate about providing exceptional care and making a difference in someone's life, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Provide in-home care services to clients, including personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Assist clients with mobility and transfers Maintain accurate records of care provided and client status
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in caregiving, preferably in home care, IIC, assisted living, or a similar setting
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate in Home Health Aide or related field preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
Current HHA certificate or certification in a related field
Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals; strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Transportation:
Reliable vehicle and a clean driving record
Background and Drug Screen:
Pass pre-employment background and drug screenings
