As a PCA, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in their homes. Duties
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide direct support and companionship to clients
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Monitor and record vital signs as required
• Ensure residents' rights and dignity are respected at all times
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Lift and move clients as needed, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Provide hospice care and support when applicable Skills
• Experience in home community care is preferred
• Knowledge of resident rights and regulations
• Ability to cook nutritious meals for clients
• Proficiency in providing direct support to individuals with various needs, including working with people with autism
• Capability to lift and move clients safely
