Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and dignity Monitor patients' vital signs and observe changes in health status to ensure safety and well-being Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure accurate and safe delivery of treatments Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Operate patient transfer methods including Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to facilitate safe movement and transfers Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and adherence to care plans Assist with patient personal care, mobility, and transportation within the community or facility Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care practices Ability to perform patient monitoring, observe for signs of distress or behavioral changes, and respond appropriately Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in manual handling or Hoyer lift operation is a plus Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is desirable Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with patient transfers safely Join our dedicated team where your caring nature meets professional growth!
