Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional support for a client in Windsor Locks, CT. This role involves working from Sunday morning through Wednesday morning, offering continuous care and assistance to ensure the client's safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior and home healthcare, with experience in managing complex care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's This position offers an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of an individual requiring comprehensive personal support within a home setting. Duties Provide attentive client observation to monitor client and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies. Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance. Medication Reminder. Maintain strict adherence to home healthcare regulations and HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. Communicate effectively with clients and family members to provide updates on health status and address concerns proactively. Qualifications Prior experience in Home Care. Strong communication skills coupled with compassionate caregiving approach; ability to work independently. Valid driver's license preferred but not required; flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of clients is essential.
