"Employer is a No Fee Staffing Agency" Companion / Homemaker $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (1099) plus $0.76 per mile between clients Independent contractor (1099) Per diem You set your own availability Pay depends on experience, case complexity and location Employer Guarantees Florida Minimum Wage - currently $14.00 per hour with increase of $15.00 per hour effective September 30, 2026.
Location:
Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Hendry and Glades Counties, Florida Gulfside Living Healthcare Services, LLC is a licensed Florida Nurse Registry (AHCA License #30213171), based in Cape Coral and serving Southwest Florida. We passed our AHCA survey with no deficiencies . We are a new company in our inception stage . We are building our founding team and actively working on obtaining clientele. We are being straightforward about that: we are building the bench first so that we can say yes when the work comes. If you want to be part of building something from the beginning, this is that opportunity. Please read this is contract work, not employment. As a nurse registry we refer independent contractors to private-pay clients. You would be self-employed independent contractor (1099) , not an employee. You set your own availability, you accept or decline each assignment, and you are paid per hour worked. We do not withhold taxes, and we do not provide benefits.
WHAT YOU WOULD DO
Companionship, conversation and supervision for elderly and disabled adults in their own homes Light housekeeping, laundry and linen changes Meal preparation and grocery shopping Medication reminders (reminders only no administration) Transportation to appointments and errands, and escort support once there This role does NOT include hands-on personal care, bathing or toileting assistance, transfers, or clinical or nursing tasks of any kind.
REQUIREMENTS 18
years or older, legally authorized to work in the United States Level 2 background screening through the AHCA Clearinghouse (fingerprinting required) CPR certification in-person skills check required. Online-only cards are not accepted. TB screening and a health statement signed by a licensed provider within the last 6 months Notarized Affidavit of Good Moral Character Valid Florida drivers license and reliable, insured transportation Alzheimers/dementia (ADRD) training free, we provide the links Completion of our orientation (7 acknowledgment forms plus a one-to-one meeting) NO professional liability insurance is required for this role. Companions are exempt.
