DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

(DSP) Changing Lives Group, LLC•Cape Coral, FL Day Shift Position Changing Lives Group, LLC is currently seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP). CNA experience is preferred but not required. This position will support a total care consumer. Experience with tube feedings and tracheostomy care is preferred; however, training opportunities may be discussed for the right candidate. Position Summary Provides direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them develop daily living skills, increase independence, and engage meaningfully in their community. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and basic household tasks. Support individuals with community participation such as shopping, appointments, and social outings. Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support while following individualized care plans and maintaining accurate and timely documentation. Ensure the safety, health, and overall well-being of each individual receiving services. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Ability to pass a Level II background screening. Completion of required TRAIN Florida courses prior to start date. CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain. Strong communication skills and dependable work ethic are essential. Prior caregiving or healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must also be willing to complete the

APD 65G-7

Medication Administration Training and Validation Course within 30 days of hire. Work Environment Services are provided in client homes and within the community. Applicants must be flexible to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
