We strive to promote independence, inclusion, and quality of life for those we support through compassionate care and community engagement. Hiring Need 2 Overnight positions (10pm-6am), 1 Mid shift position (2pm-10pm) We are seeking energetic and compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our team in a group home setting. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance and support to residents with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and dignity. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals by fostering a supportive and engaging environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Administer medication and monitor vital signs in accordance with care plans and medical guidelines. Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, utilizing behavior management techniques. Operate EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems accurately to document care activities and health updates. Prepare nutritious meals, assist with feeding when necessary, and maintain a clean and safe living environment. Use mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist residents with transfers and mobility needs. Drive residents to appointments or community activities using company vehicles while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and health & safety procedures. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in memory care settings is advantageous. Familiarity with EMR systems, personal care homes, or group home environments is a plus. Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role. Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required for transportation duties.
