As a Home Health Aide , you'll provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities while helping patients maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life . You'll also work closely with the nursing team by observing and reporting changes in patients needs or conditions. We're looking for caring, dependable individuals who understand that sometimes the greatest impact comes from helping someone remain comfortable and independent at home. Position Summary The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing compassionate direct personal care services to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role supports patients with daily living activities, ensures comfort and safety, and assists with maintaining dignity and independence. The Home Health Aide (HHA) is responsible for observing patients, documenting care provided, and promptly reporting changes in patient condition or concerns to the supervising Registered Nurse. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. Successful completion of at least 40 hours of training or a competency test by an accredited Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) organization. A minimum of one (1) year of home health aide experience working in home health, long-term care, or similar work environment is preferred. Ability to read and follow written instructions; and document care given. Ability to work independently in patients' homes while following established care plans and the direction of supervising Registered Nurse. Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired. Possess and maintains current CPR and First Aid certification. Demonstrates tact, patience, and good personal hygiene. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay:

$18.00 - $21.15 per hour
